LCSW & Founder of Seaworthy Therapy
I support moms, women, individuals, teens and young adults. My work helps clients overcome anxiety, burnout, and move through life transitions while building confidence, steadiness, and flow.
Background & Experience
I’ve spent the past decade supporting children, teens, adults, and families through life’s challenges across schools, crisis support, San Diego county adoptions and family support, and private practice settings. I earned my undergraduate degree from University of California San Diego and my Masters (MSW) from San Diego State University. I’m trained in EMDR, trauma-focused therapy, mindfulness-based stress reduction, somatic approaches, and Surf Therapy.
Based in Encinitas, California - I specialize in women’s and maternal mental health, helping mothers navigate postpartum anxiety, burnout, life transitions, and the emotional overwhelm that can come with caregiving and modern life. I created Seaworthy Therapy to offer a space that feels grounded, compassionate, and deeply human—where you can reconnect with yourself, build resilience, and find more ease in the midst of change.
My Approach
Therapy with me is collaborative and paced with care.
I respect your inner wisdom, and I also offer gentle direction, reflections, and practical tools when that feels grounding and helpful. I draw from CBT, somatic and mindfulness-based practices, EMDR, and neuroscience-informed approaches—always tailored to you.
I show up as a real person in the room—warm, grounded, and present. There is space here for tears, laughter, uncertainty, and relief. You don’t need to have the right words, just the willingness to show up as your genuine self that deserves to be seen and to heal. We’ll take this one steady step at a time.
"Guiding humans through life’s waves feels like coming home"
The ‘Why’ Behind Seaworthy Therapy
I’ve developed into a human who has a deep care for others and support is how I show up in the world. Supporting others with —a listening ear, a grounding presence, a place to feel understood. When I welcomed my sons into the world, this deepened my sense of care in a whole new way, giving me firsthand insight into the identity shifts, anxiety, overwhelm, and emotional weight so many women carry while caring for everyone else. Through years of work in schools, child welfare, and private practice, I saw how deeply women, caretakers and mothers needed spaces where they could feel truly supported, seen, and cared for too. Seaworthy Therapy was created from that place—a practice rooted in human connection, compassion, and helping others find steadiness in the midst of life’s waves.
Seaworthy provides a space that feels like you can catch your breath and flow with more intention through life.
